Bridges TV is looking for an aggressive, dynamic and experienced news anchor for our daily news program and a news talk show called Talking Points. The candidate must be news savvy and able to discuss intelligently the major news stories of the day with diplomats, politicians, business leaders and community activists.
The Bridges Television Network was founded nearly three years ago and has grown to a network that spans the country and is growing internationally as well. Our reporters are citizen journalists who shoot and report, they are not the china doll well-manicured types but they know their communities. We cover the daily diet of major world stories but usually focus on areas of the world relevant to our viewers as well. We try to get the Middle Eastern or South Asian view, when appropriate, to add something different to the mainstream media take on the same story.
Frequent interviews are done with key news makers from today's times.
Our anchors report, write, and even edit the news. We are looking for someone who wants to go right to the source for the story, and then can't wait to put the interview on the news - and on the Internet.
